Suffering Bastard: Library of Libations Vol 8
Presenting Volume 8 of The Library Of Libations: Suffering Bastard
•• Sales will open to the public once all Library Card Holders have received their invites.
This diorama brings to life the 1968 cocktail & mug from Trader Vic’s. Gaze into the frame to discover that YOU are the suffering bastard! Smoked mirrored acrylic makes the magic possible - and, as Trader Vic would tell you, the only cure for your suffering is another cocktail!
Please note: this is the FINAL volume of the first set of Library Of Libations dioramas, and this design is an OPEN edition. Material costs have skyrocketed since we began these dioramas, so we wanted to wrap up the first wave at a fair price point for collectors to complete their sets. We do have some elaborate plans for future volumes that incorporate ideas we couldn’t do at the current price. Consider the future Library Of Libations releases to be like… Criterion Collection DVDs? Hm. Maybe elaborate illuminated manuscripts are a better analogy.
Suffering Bastard: Crafted from Maple, smokey mirror, and a matte black acrylic, each diorama stands 6.5" tall by 5.25" wide. Ready to hang on a wall, or it will stand up just fine - with a little help from a "foot" included - on a bar top or mantle. $85 each plus shipping and handling. This is a numbered, open edition.
The dioramas are made by hand, by us, in our Eugene Oregon studio and will ship via UPS (no PO boxes) insured with a required signature (barring any issues). Please sign up or use your My UPS app to track your delivery and make any changes via the app. Items returned to me, will be refunded minus the UPS service charge (usually $18-$20!) and sold to the next person. If you are delivering to a business or secure mail box, you may contact me within 30 min of your order for removal of the required signature and I'll only run your payment minus the $5.00 UPS fee. Once I run your card, I can't refund the full $5. Sorry!
*** Natural materials are used in the making of this item - please expect variations in wood grain, finish, pattern, and hue. Acrylic color can vary slightly in batch production. This is fragile! Please use extreme care when opening! Materials are scarce(and very expensive right now!) and we do not know if they will be available again to cut new pieces! Thank you!
**We reserve the right to refuse any sale. Limit one per person/family/household. See our Policies below.
